Eric Curtis Chapman Arrested; – Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell has declared that Eric Curtis Chapman (born November 1981) has been charged with 20 counts related to sexual conduct and exploitation of minors.

Chapman was apprehended earlier this month by the Phoenix Police after a social media platform notified the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about online interactions between Chapman and an account claiming to represent a minor. The investigation led to the identification of multiple victims. Following a thorough review, prosecutors from the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office decided to file charges against Chapman, which include:

– Nine counts of Sexual Conduct with a Minor, classified as a Class Two Felony
– Nine counts of Sexual Conduct with a Minor, classified as a Class Two Felony
– Ten counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, classified as a Class Two Felony and categorized as a Dangerous Crime Against Children.

Chapman is currently detained with a cash bond set at $250,000, indicating that he must pay the entire amount to secure his release from custody. *It is important to note that a criminal charge is simply an allegation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
