Elisabeth Benoit Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified the bicyclist who was fatally struck by a vehicle in Concord on Friday evening.
According to police, Elisabeth Benoit, 43, from Concord, was transported to Concord Hospital following the incident. Unfortunately, Benoit succumbed to her injuries later on.
As reported by the police, the incident occurred around 7:10 p.m. on Loudon Road, in proximity to the Irving gas station.
The vehicle involved in the incident fled the scene after colliding with the bicycle, heading west on Loudon Road. Authorities are seeking information from any drivers who were in the vicinity of the Irving gas station on Loudon Road between 7 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. on Friday. Additionally, anyone possessing surveillance footage of the area during that timeframe is encouraged to contact the police.
