Eldren Wright Death; – A man from Montgomery has passed away nearly one week after sustaining injuries in a shooting incident that also left four others injured. On Tuesday, police identified the deceased as Eldren Wright, who was 22 years old.
Authorities were alerted around 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, when the five victims arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds. Investigators have established that the shooting occurred in the 1000 block of Liberty Square Drive. Further details have not been disclosed.
Among the injured were three men and two juveniles, with Wright and one juvenile suffering from life-threatening injuries. The remaining three victims sustained injuries that were not life-threatening.
Police Major Saba Coleman confirmed that Wright succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
