Dinella Hutsell,Daniel Hutsell Obituary, Death; – On Tuesday evening, a community gathered to honor a Hughson mother of two, who was discovered deceased over the weekend in a case that authorities have classified as a murder-suicide.

Modesto police identified the deceased individuals on Monday as Dinella Hutsell, 37, and Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Sgt. Daniel Hutsell, 40, with one of their children being the one to find them. The family of Dinella, affectionately known as ‘Danee,’ requested that she be referred to by her maiden name, Madrigal. Hundreds of individuals convened at LeBright Park, located just a few blocks from Madrigal’s residence, to pay tribute to her and acknowledge the positive influence she had on their lives.

‘This demonstrates the depth of her connections,’ stated Angie Palafox. ‘She often encouraged us to ‘Make a friend, don’t make an enemy.’ Palafox, who had known Madrigal for two decades, expressed her disbelief upon hearing the news of her passing on Sunday morning, recalling Madrigal’s supportive nature. ‘I can still hear her voice urging me, ‘Keep it up. Keep going, Angie.’

She was always there for any cause I championed,’ Palafox reminisced. Other friends shared fond memories of Madrigal, highlighting her vibrant personality. ‘She was outspoken and direct; when she handed me her resume, I jokingly said, ‘You can have it. You can take my job,” recounted a colleague. As candles flickered in memory of Madrigal, balloons were released into the sky at LeBright Park.

‘This illustrates her genuine care for the community,’ Palafox remarked. Family members present expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support they have received. The investigation by Modesto police remains active.
