Derrel Brooks Obituary, Death; – A man from Pike Road lost his life on Sunday evening following a collision involving three vehicles, as reported by the Montgomery Police Department.
Emergency services, including police and fire medics, were dispatched to the scene shortly after 6:30 p.m. in the 4200 Block of Troy Highway. Upon arrival, they discovered a 2022 Dodge Ram, a 2008 Ford F-450, and a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox involved in the accident.
First responders located the driver of the Dodge, identified as 44-year-old Derrel Brooks from Pike Road, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Additionally, three other individuals, comprising the drivers of the other two vehicles and a passenger from the Chevrolet, were transported to local hospitals to receive treatment for minor injuries, according to the MPD.
The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
