Derek Jones Obituary, Death; – Authorities have provided new information regarding a deadly stabbing incident that took place in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred at a residence located on Union Street, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office. They reported that Manchester police received a 911 emergency call for assistance at 7:43 a.m., and upon arrival, officers discovered a deceased man inside an apartment.
In an update released on Tuesday evening, the attorney general’s office stated that when the police arrived, they found a man, later identified as 39-year-old Ramandhani Idrisa Kiki, at the intersection of Union and Merrimack streets, covered in what appeared to be blood and proclaiming that he had committed murder.
Upon entering the apartment, law enforcement discovered 60-year-old Derek Jones lying on the floor, deceased from what appeared to be a stab wound.
Idrisa Kiki was taken to the hospital but is anticipated to recover. A warrant has been issued for his arrest, charging him with second-degree murder, and he is expected to be arraigned at a future date.
