Dequelle Williamson Obituary, Death; – Cobb County authorities have confirmed the identity of a man who was fatally shot at an apartment complex in Marietta. The incident occurred prior to 12:45 a.m. on Thursday at the Cobblestone Apartments, located on the 300 block of Pat Mell Road.
Details available indicate that officers from the Cobb County Police Department were dispatched to the scene following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they discovered a man who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to a nearby hospital; however, he succumbed to his injuries. On Thursday afternoon, officials named the deceased as 44-year-old Dequelle Williamson, a resident of Marietta.
