Crystal Lynn Carroll Willard Obituary, Death; – Deputies apprehended an individual in relation to a suspicious death that occurred in Newton over the weekend.
Crystal Lynn Carroll Willard was discovered deceased in a residence located off Springdale Drive on Sunday, February 2. Major Aaron Turk indicated that she had been deceased for several days prior to the discovery.
Richard Jerome Barber was taken into custody on Wednesday, February 5, and has been charged with concealing or failing to report a death. A secured bond of $60,000 was set for him. Authorities have stated that the cause of Willard’s death remains unconfirmed, and the results of the autopsy are still pending.
