Cort Winsor Obituary, Death; – State police are conducting an investigation into a deadly accident that occurred near Edinboro on Friday night.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the 13100 block of Fry Road at 6:45 PM, where a vehicle collided with a tree, resulting in the tree falling across the roadway. Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook reported that a 30-year-old man, identified as Cort Winsor from Venango, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses at the location indicated that a second individual, a 7-year-old boy, was trapped in the debris and sustained minor injuries. There has been no information released regarding the cause of the accident.
