Corey Deangelo Davis Obituary, Death; – A man has died following a single-vehicle accident in Pittsylvania County on Thursday, as reported by the Virginia State Police.
According to the authorities, the incident took place at approximately 7:45 p.m. on Level Run Road.
The police indicated that a 2020 Chevrolet was heading west on Level Run Road when it veered off the left side of the road, descended an embankment, and collided with trees.
The driver of the Chevrolet was later identified as 36-year-old Corey Deangelo Davis from Altavista. Authorities stated that Davis was not wearing his seatbelt and was transported to Centra Gretna Medical Center, where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
“Alcohol is suspected to have played a role in the accident,” stated the Virginia State Police.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and no additional information has been disclosed.
