Cody Cochran Obituary, Death; – A pedestrian was fatally injured and another sustained injuries in a hit-and-run incident in Gaston County on Sunday morning, as reported by the police.

One of the individuals involved, identified as Cody Cochran, succumbed to his injuries, while the status of the other pedestrian remains unclear.
As of the current moment, no arrests have been made.

The tragic accident occurred at approximately 12:40 a.m. on Sunday, October 19, along Garrison Boulevard near Yates Street in Gastonia.

Authorities suspect that the driver being sought was operating a small, dark-colored SUV, potentially blue or black.
Investigators are requesting information regarding the vehicle, which was allegedly halted at a traffic signal just prior to the incident. The driver is reported to have proceeded through the intersection, colliding with both pedestrians before fleeing the scene.

Law enforcement has released security footage from traffic cameras in the hope that the public may identify the vehicle. A screenshot of the car is provided below.
