Celeste Bellard Obituary, Death;- An investigation in Mississippi is underway after a woman jumped from a moving car driven by a man believed to be her boyfriend, according to officials.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. on Gautier-Vancleave Road in Jackson County on Thursday. Deputies who responded to the scene said they found 45-year-old Celeste Bellard lying on the road. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff’s office said 47-year-old Adam Cross told investigators he and Bellard had been drinking and were on their way home when they got into an argument and Bellard jumped out of the car. Authorities said Cross has been charged with driving under the influence. His bond was set at $5,000.
