Carlos Funez Obituary, Death; – Mobile Police have identified the person killed in a crash on Old Shell Road yesterday.
According to an MPD news release, 21-year-old Carlos Funez was killed Monday while standing outside of his car on the westbound lanes of Old Shell Road.
The incident happened at about 3:15 a.m. near Cosgrove Drive. According to police, Funez was standing beside his vehicle, which had its hazards on, when another vehicle traveling westbound hit him.
The driver of the other vehicle remained on the scene. The investigation is still ongoing.
