Carlos Brizuela Yera Obituary, Death;- A 52-year-old man, identified as Carlos Brizuela Yera, tragically lost his life after being struck by a train in East Haven, as confirmed by an Amtrak official.
The incident took place on Saturday evening. Amtrak police notified East Haven police shortly before 6:30 p.m. regarding a pedestrian who had been hit and killed by a train near the intersection of Saltonstall Parkway and Forbes Place, according to East Haven police Captain Joseph Murgo.
The train involved was a CTrail service, as stated by Joe Cooper, the deputy director of communications for the state Department of Transportation. This commuter rail service operates between New Haven and Springfield, Massachusetts.
