Braylynn S Fahy Obituary, Death;- The individual who lost their life in a collision on the New York State Thruway has been confirmed as a woman from Upstate New York.
Braylynn S. Fahy, aged 30, from Fort Plain, N.Y., was identified by New York State Police on Tuesday morning. She tragically passed away on Monday night while operating a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse that collided with another vehicle, a 2025 Cadillac Escalade, in the vicinity of Albany.
According to police reports, Fahy’s vehicle merged onto I-90 westbound from the Exit 24 acceleration ramp off I-87, traversed all lanes of traffic, and was impacted by the Escalade that was traveling in the left lane. The incident took place at approximately 6:45 p.m. on Monday, resulting in a section of the Thruway being closed off, with traffic being redirected off Exit 24 as emergency responders attended to the scene.
