Bobby Bruce Orr Obituary, Death; – A 91-year-old man was discovered deceased following a fire at a residence in Anderson County, as reported by the coroner. Fire officials were alerted to a grass fire shortly after midnight at the end of Wyatt Road in Piedmont.
Three fire stations responded to the incident and found that the blaze had engulfed a two-story house, as stated by Fire Chief Jimmy Sutherland. The victim was located inside the residence, and the coroner’s office has identified him as Bobby Bruce Orr.
According to Sutherland, extinguishing the fire required two hours. The coroner indicated that Orr succumbed to smoke inhalation and thermal injuries, noting that there is no evidence of foul play.
