Barbara J. Royster Obituary, Death; – Authorities have confirmed the identity of the woman who lost her life after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Jefferson Davis Highway in Chesterfield County on Sunday evening.
At approximately 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, officers from the Chesterfield County Police Department arrived at the scene of an accident involving a 2001 Nissan Altima that collided with a pedestrian crossing Jefferson Davis Highway.
The pedestrian, who has been identified by law enforcement as 68-year-old Barbara J. Royster from Chesterfield, was declared deceased at the scene.
