Aureliano Gonzalez Sanchez Obituary, Death; – A man died Sunday night after he was hit by a vehicle, the Olathe Police Department reports.
Shortly before 8:40 p.m. on Oct. 19, Olathe officers were called to Old 56 Highway and Chestnut Street on reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Upon arrival, they found a man, later identified as 36-year-old Aureliano Gonzalez-Sanchez, who had been hit and was critically injured. He later died in the hospital.
OPD did not share the circumstances of the crash, but said the driver stayed on scene to cooperate with the investigation.
