Alyssa Hutchison Obituary, Death; – A Washington woman died Sunday night after a vehicle struck her motorcycle in Donegal Township. Washington County Coroner Timothy Warco identified the woman as 23-year-old Alyssa Hutchison.
According to the coroner, the accident occurred at 7:44 p.m. in the 4500 block of State Route 40, near the Dollar General store. Hutchison was reportedly driving east at the time of the accident. She was transported to UPMC Washington, where she was pronounced dead about an hour later. She was wearing a helmet, according to the coroner.
Donegal police are investigating the accident. Chief John Yancosek declined to identify the driver of the other vehicle or provide additional details concerning how the crash occurred.
Claysville and West Alexander fire departments also responded.
