Alvino Ray Arambulo Obituary, Death;- The Kern County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of a man who was fatally run over twice as 48-year-old Alvino Ray Arambulo from Bakersfield.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department, on September 15, 2025, at approximately 10:20 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of Union Avenue in response to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
Upon their arrival, they discovered Arambulo with critical injuries. He was declared dead at the scene.

An initial investigation revealed that Arambulo was walking eastbound, outside of a crosswalk, on the 3500 block of Union Avenue when he was struck by a vehicle, as reported by the police.

Authorities stated that while the man was still lying in the roadway, a second vehicle collided with him and fled the scene.
The first driver remained at the location and cooperated with law enforcement.

The second vehicle, described as a light-colored two-door coupe, possibly a Honda Civic, hit the man again but did not stop.
A photograph of the vehicle indicated front bumper damage consistent with having struck a pedestrian.

The Bakersfield Police Department urges anyone with information regarding the investigation, the vehicle, or the driver to reach out to the BPD traffic desk at (661) 326-3938, Officer B. Price at (661) 448-5566, or via email at bprice@bakersfieldpd.us.
