Aaron Isaiah Aguero Obituary, Death; – A soldier from Fort Bragg has died following a three-vehicle collision in Fayetteville on Friday afternoon, according to police reports.

The Fayetteville Police Department stated that the incident occurred just before 1 p.m. on Yadkin Road while the motorcyclist was traveling from Santa Fe Drive towards Lake Valley Drive.

Authorities reported that the motorcyclist who lost his life in the accident was 20-year-old Aaron Isaiah Aguero, an active duty soldier from Fort Bragg.

A preliminary investigation revealed that Aguero was trying to overtake vehicles in the center turn lane when a Ford truck was utilizing the turn lane to make a left turn onto Cimarron Drive.

Despite attempts to maneuver into oncoming traffic, he collided with the rear of the Ford truck and was thrown into a third vehicle that was traveling on Yadkin towards Santa Fe Drive, according to the Fayetteville police.

Authorities confirmed that Aguero was pronounced dead at the scene.
