Aaliyah Jones Obituary, Death; The driver killed in a head-on crash in Hanover Twp. last week has been identified as a 32-year-old Nanticoke woman.
Aaliyah Jones was killed in the crash that took place Friday morning in the area of 1757 Sans Souci Parkway, Luzerne County Coroner Dion Fernandes said.
An autopsy conducted Monday morning determined Jones died of multiple traumatic injuries due to a motor vehicle crash, he said.
The crash, which reportedly left several others injured, prompted police to shut down the Sans Souci Parkway from Hanover Area Junior Senior High School to the area of Nimrod Haven Hunting & Fishing. Hanover Twp. police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
