Jacob Strange Obituary, Death; – A resident of Forest Hill lost his life in an accident on October 28 at approximately 4:22 p.m., as reported by the Louisiana State Police. According to LSP, Jacob Strange, aged 32, was operating a 2007 Honda motorcycle at a high rate of speed while traveling eastbound on Hwy 488, overtaking another vehicle in a designated no-passing zone.
As he maneuvered back into the eastbound lane after passing, Strange collided with a westbound 2011 Toyota Camry that was in the process of making a left turn onto Hwy 1199.
Strange sustained fatal injuries from the incident and was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the Toyota, who was properly restrained with a seatbelt, did not suffer any injuries. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
