Kenneth Ashley Williams Obituary, Death; – A woman has been charged following an incident in which she struck and killed a pedestrian in downtown Greer on Sunday night, as detailed in an arrest warrant. Amy Marie Holcomb faces charges of felony DUI.
According to Greer police, Holcomb’s vehicle collided with Kenneth Ashley Williams, aged 40, on Trade Street that evening. Williams succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The arrest warrant indicated that Holcomb exhibited signs of impairment, including glassy eyes, slurred speech, and the odor of alcohol.
The warrant further revealed that Holcomb’s blood alcohol concentration was measured at 0.13 percent, exceeding the legal limit of 0.08 percent in South Carolina. Additionally, video evidence indicated that Holcomb did not stop or yield to pedestrians prior to the collision with Williams.
