Brent Andrew Reynolds Obituary, Death; – A 35-year-old man from Roaring River lost his life on Tuesday night in a single-vehicle accident in Wilkes County, as reported by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.

According to troopers, the incident occurred at approximately 7:07 p.m. on Mathis Mill Road, close to Berry Lane. A 2014 Ram truck was heading north when it veered across the center line, left the roadway on the left side, collided with a tree, and subsequently overturned.

The driver, identified as Brent Andrew Reynolds, succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Troopers noted that Reynolds was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.

Mathis Mill Road was shut down for roughly two hours while investigators conducted their work at the site. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
