Darius Dyous Obituary, Death; – Halifax police apprehended a 19-year-old man this week in connection with a crash in Dartmouth that resulted in the deaths of two other teenagers in the fall.

Authorities were summoned to School Street in Dartmouth on September 25 at approximately 11:20 p.m. due to a vehicle colliding with a tree. Three individuals were extricated from the vehicle. A 19-year-old woman, who was a passenger, was declared dead at the scene.

Another passenger, a 19-year-old man, was transported to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries later. The police reported that the driver was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
In a news release on Wednesday, Halifax Regional Police announced the arrest of Tomas Ryan MacEachern, 19, on Tuesday.

He is set to appear in court in February facing charges of two counts of operating a vehicle while impaired causing death, two counts of driving over the legal limit causing death, two counts of dangerous driving causing death, and fleeing from a police officer.

A GoFundMe page (which has since been removed) identified the deceased man as Darius Dyous. It noted that he had a passion for country music and embraced the cowboy lifestyle, stating he “had a natural way of making friends.”
It mentioned that his strength and vibrant spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him, describing him as “a good person with a big heart; kind, funny, and full of life.”

The woman who passed away, Madeline Wall, “had a smile that would light up a room and had touched the lives of many during her short time,” according to her obituary.
