Yerlimari Quinones Obituary, Death; – A driver disregarded a red traffic signal and collided with another vehicle, resulting in the death of a woman and serious injuries to several others on Saturday in Cumberland County, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at 5:53 p.m. in Upper Deerfield Township, as reported by State Police Tpr. Christopher Postorino.
Judith Fleming, 72, was heading north on South Woodruff Road when she ran a red light to make a right turn onto Irving Avenue, Postorino stated. During the turn, her Tesla collided with a Honda that was traveling west on Irving Avenue, police reported.
All four occupants of the Honda sustained serious injuries, including a woman who suffered fatal injuries, Postorino noted. Police have identified her as Yerlimari Quinones, 38, from Bridgeton.
Fleming, who resides in Vineland, incurred minor injuries.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, and no charges have been filed as of Monday morning.
