Benjamin McComas Obituary, Death;- An investigation is currently in progress following the fatal shooting of a man on Sunday at the RTA Red Line Puritas Rapid Station located in Cleveland.
The victim has been identified by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office as 27-year-old Benjamin McComas from Avon Lake.
According to RTA officials, the incident occurred in the 4200 block of West 150 Street at approximately 7:25 p.m.
3News has contacted the Cleveland Division of Police, which is overseeing the investigation.
This shooting incident occurs less than a week after the death of 17-year-old Jamir Peak, who was fatally stabbed at the RTA Superior Rapid Station in East Cleveland.
RTA officials had previously informed 3News that a 56-year-old woman was taken into custody in relation to the stabbing.
