Donna Revecho Obituary, Death; – A woman from Richmond passed away on Thursday, several weeks after being struck by a vehicle in El Cerrito, as reported by the police. The Contra Costa County Coroner’s Office has identified her as 66-year-old Donna Revecho.
Revecho was struck by a vehicle on November 15 at approximately 2:19 p.m. on San Pablo Avenue at Waldo Avenue, according to the El Cerrito Police Department. Upon arrival, officers discovered the woman unresponsive in the street, after which she was airlifted to a nearby trauma center. On December 4, Revecho unfortunately succumbed to her injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene of the accident and cooperated with the investigation, as stated by authorities. The identity of the driver has not been disclosed by the police.
The El Cerrito Police Department indicated that it would forward the case to the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office for potential criminal charges against the driver.
