Matthew Thompson Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified a man found dead after a house fire in Ben Avon late last month.
Numerous fire departments responded to a home on Perrysville Avenue around 12:30 a.m. Nov. 29. A man found dead in the home after the fire was identified Friday as 46-year-old Matthew Thompson.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office listed Mr. Thompson’s home only as being “out of county.” His connection to the home wasn’t immediately clear.
The county fire marshal and county homicide detectives are investigating.
