Alexander Leamon Obituary, Death; – Alexander Leamon, 23, of Lena, is identified as the pilot killed in a crash Tuesday morning in the 2800 block of W. Illinois Route 64 in Mt. Morris.
Leamon was the sole occupant of the aircraft, a Cessna T188c, according to Ogle County officials. The crash happened shortly after 9:30 a.m. July 22. Multiple power lines were also damaged in the crash.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are investigating.
