Jawon Deshawn Cooper Obituary, Death; – Detectives are investigating after a man was shot and killed overnight in north St. Louis.
According to SLMPD, officers responded to the 6000 blocks of Emma & Lucille Avenues just before 10 p.m. Thursday for a shooting call. Police say they were notified about a shooting victim who was dropped off at the hospital with gunshot wounds.
The victim, identified as 27-year-old Jawon Deshawn Cooper, was pronounced dead at the hospital. Officers were then able to locate a shooting scene in the 5400 block of Park Lane. An investigation is currently active. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to call the Homicide Division directly at 314-444-5371.
