Michael Felix Obituary, Death; – A pedestrian lost his life in an accident on I-80 in Washoe County. The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Division arrived at the scene of the incident at the intersection of I-80 and Sparks Blvd. in Washoe County at approximately 9:45 p.m. on September 2.
Initial investigations suggest that the pedestrian was traversing the first travel lane of eastbound I-80, situated east of Sparks Blvd., when he was struck by a yellow 2022 Freightliner Tow Truck, which was also proceeding eastbound on I-80.
The individual, identified as 23-year-old Michael Felix from Fresno, California, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol Northern Command West Traffic Homicide Unit is currently conducting an investigation into this incident.
