– Federico Gonzalez Obituary, Death; The man who was killed early Saturday morning in a pedestrian accident in San Antonio has been identified as 20-year-old Federico Gonzalez, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The deadly accident happened around 1:50 a.m., June 7, on Loop 410 near Perrin Beitel. Police said Gonzalez had left a nearby dance hall and attempted to cross the highway when he was struck by a Toyota Tundra.
Gonzalez was pronounced dead at the scene. The Tundra stopped near the exit to I-35. The driver, 42-year-old Joseph Cortez, was evaluated at the scene, was found to be intoxicated, and was arrested. The police are investigating the accident.
