James Wolf Obituary, Death; – A teenager from Cambridge has lost his life in a collision involving two vehicles on Highway 6, as reported by the Nebraska State Patrol.
Law enforcement officials, including troopers and the Furnas County Sheriff’s Office, arrived at the scene of the accident, which occurred west of Arapahoe on Sunday at approximately 4 p.m.
Initial investigations indicate that a Ford Ranger was traveling west on Highway 6 when it veered across the center line and collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee, according to the NSP. The driver of the Ford was taken to Cambridge Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The NSP has identified the driver of the Ford as 18-year-old James Wolf.
An adult female passenger in the Jeep was airlifted to Bryan Health West Campus in Lincoln due to serious injuries. The driver and an infant passenger were treated for minor injuries at Cambridge Hospital and subsequently discharged.
The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
