Karen Gordon,Taylor Daniel Obituary, Death; – A man who fatally shot members of his own family in Bucks County has admitted guilt to three counts of first-degree murder. Andre Gordon submitted his plea at the county’s justice center on Wednesday morning, subsequently receiving three life sentences in prison without the possibility of parole.
The victims included Gordon’s stepmother, 52-year-old Karen Gordon; his 13-year-old sister, Kera Gordon; and 25-year-old Taylor Daniel, the mother of his two daughters.
In court, the prosecution presented 911 calls, bodycam footage, and witness interviews.
Two 911 calls captured the victims communicating with dispatchers while Gordon forcibly entered their homes armed with a firearm on that day in March 2024. In one of the calls, Daniel was heard instructing other family members to seek refuge as Gordon was breaking in. She was subsequently killed while their two young daughters hid under blankets just a foot away.
Several victim impact statements were presented before the judge.
Gordon remained silent prior to his sentencing.
The crime spree commenced that day when Gordon carjacked a woman in Trenton, New Jersey, utilizing her vehicle to travel to Bucks County.
At approximately 8:52 a.m., Falls Township police officers were dispatched to the unit block of Viewpoint Lane in Levittown following reports of a shooting. Authorities stated that this was where Gordon arrived in the stolen vehicle and subsequently shot and killed his stepmother and sister.
Three additional individuals, including another 13-year-old, were present in the home at the time but managed to conceal themselves as Gordon searched for them, according to investigators. At around 9:01 a.m., police responded to the unit block of Edgewood Lane in Levittown, where Gordon murdered Daniel.
Gordon then allegedly struck Daniel’s mother with his assault rifle before fleeing the scene. At 9:13 a.m., Gordon carjacked an SUV at gunpoint in Morrisville and returned to Trenton. An hours-long standoff occurred at a residence in the city where Gordon was suspected to be hiding, but police soon discovered he had escaped.
Gordon was eventually found and apprehended around 5 p.m.
