William Goodman Jr,Demonte Tillery Obituary, Death; – Authorities have identified two men who were fatally shot Thursday night in the vicinity of downtown Suffolk. According to police reports, William Goodman Jr., aged 37, succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while Demonte Tillery, aged 30, passed away at the hospital.

In addition, three other individuals—two men and one woman—sustained injuries during the incident. They were transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and their prognosis is positive, as indicated by police.

As of Friday afternoon, law enforcement has not identified any suspects in connection with the shooting. Investigators spent several hours at the scene overnight, gathering evidence. A dump truck present at the location was found with a bullet hole in its door, shattered glass scattered outside, and what appeared to be a blood trail on the ground nearby.

Officers reported discovering the five victims upon their arrival at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the 800 block of East Washington Street.

The investigation remains active, and police have stated that no additional information is available for public release at this time. While there is no universally accepted definition of a mass shooting, many sources agree that it involves the shooting of at least four individuals.
