Ying Zhu Liu Obituary, Death; – A 57-year-old woman was fatally shot in the face in the presence of her husband and his son during what appears to be a failed robbery at her residence in Chinatown, according to law enforcement officials. Responding to an emergency call on Market Street shortly before 11 p.m., authorities discovered the victim, identified as Ying Zhu Liu, deceased at the location.
The investigation reveals that Liu’s husband was in an elevator with two male individuals. Upon exiting, the suspects followed him and attempted to carry out a robbery. Liu subsequently entered the hallway and was struck by a bullet to the head. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with this incident.
Police report that both suspects escaped on foot. One suspect is described as wearing a black ski mask and a hooded jacket that is half red and half black, paired with white sneakers. The other suspect was dressed in a black ski mask, a black hooded jacket, and black pants.
