Ximena Ojeda Obituary, Death; – The Port Arthur Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into a shooting that occurred on Monday night, resulting in the death of a woman on the 3200 block of 32nd Street. The deceased has been identified as 21-year-old Ximena Ojeda, a resident of Port Arthur.
According to Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso, the incident was reported to the police late yesterday. Chief Duriso confirmed that the shooting took place within a residence on the 3200 block of 32nd Street. Upon their arrival, officers discovered a young woman in her early twenties deceased inside the home.
While no arrests have been made at this time, Chief Duriso indicated that a suspect has been identified, although their name has not yet been disclosed. The name of the victim will be released following notification of her family. Chief Duriso stated that the Port Arthur Police are actively pursuing leads in the case.
