Winston Williams Obituary, Death; – The St Mary police have yet to determine a motive for the fatal shooting of a 71-year-old businessman during a home invasion that occurred on Wednesday evening.
The deceased has been identified as Winston Williams, a resident of Boardivilla in Enfield, St Mary. According to police reports, Williams was at home with his common-law wife, brother, and a 12-year-old child around 7 PM when a group of armed intruders forcibly entered the residence.
The assailants opened fire, striking Williams in the upper body before fleeing the scene. He was subsequently transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Fortunately, the other individuals present in the home were unharmed. The St Mary Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) is currently conducting an investigation into the incident.
