William Nathaniel Robinson Obituary, Death; – Maine State Police have reported that a man discovered deceased in the woods of Edgecomb succumbed to a gunshot wound. The body was located on December 3 by a hunter in proximity to Schmid Land Preserve along Old County Road.
On Monday, authorities identified the deceased as 34-year-old William Nathaniel Robinson from Virginia. The Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta has concluded that the cause of death was a gunshot wound, categorizing the manner of death as homicide.
According to police reports, Robinson had been residing at a residence in Edgecomb. Maine State Police have indicated that there is currently no known threat to public safety. The investigation remains active.
