William Hayes,Jenna Hayes Obituary, Death; – A community in Anne Arundel County was left in shock following the murder of a married couple within their Pasadena residence.
Police have identified the victims as William Hayes, aged 56, and his wife, Jenna Hayes, aged 54. The tragic incident occurred inside their home located in the 1700 block of Twickenham Road shortly before 2 p.m. on Sunday. Within five hours, law enforcement made an arrest, facilitated by a 911 call originating from the couple’s residence. Authorities have stated that the attack was not random.
Investigators report that the suspect had both a personal and professional relationship with the couple, who operated a home improvement construction business from their home.
Following the 911 call, police tracked the suspect and attempted to conduct a traffic stop near Bluestone Street in Hanover at approximately 6:30 p.m. The traffic stop escalated into a pursuit that concluded near Route 97 and Quarterfield Road. Officers described a physical confrontation before apprehending the suspect. One officer sustained injuries but is anticipated to make a full recovery.
The suspect has been identified as Anthony Luis Reyes, 61, from Nottingham, Maryland. Reyes, who celebrated his 61st birthday on Sunday, was transported to a hospital following the altercation. He is expected to face charges of first-degree murder.
