William D Mattison Jr Obituary, Death; – Syracuse police have identified the individual found deceased in a trash can in Syracuse last week as 55-year-old William D. Mattison Jr. of Syracuse. The body was located around 12:30 p.m. on February 27 in the 200 block of Hartson Street.
Authorities have not disclosed any details regarding the cause of death. According to Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick, the investigation is being treated as a homicide. The body was discovered by a homeowner in the area, who reported to 911 that the trash can originated from a different street.
