Whitney Davis Obituary, Death; – A woman is dead and five passengers were sent to the hospital after a car accident in Jones County Thursday night, according to Deputy Coroner Stacey Gardner.

Gardner told WGXA that just before 9:00 PM, the driver of the vehicle, identified as 32-year-old Whitney Davis, was traveling near the 2000 block of Graham Road when she veered off the road and struck two power poles.

The impact made the vehicle flip on its passenger side, and Davis died from blunt force trauma. Gardner added that five other passengers were injured in the accident but were sent to the local hospital in stable condition.
