Veronica Quevedo Torres,Leslie Johana Marrufo Torres Obituary, Death;- Four people were found dead Saturday in south Georgia at the scene of what was suspected to be a murder-suicide.

The Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office reported the tragic incident on Saturday, identifying two Hispanic males and two Hispanic females, who were found deceased at the scene. The sheriff’s office said one of the females was the “suspected perpetrator.”

On Sunday, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation identified three victims and a fourth person they described as being found with an “apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.” The three victims were identified as 51-year-old Veronica Quevedo Torres, 24-year-old Leslie Johana Marrufo Torres, 18-year-old Edilberto “Eddie” Marin-Torres.

The fourth person with the apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound was identified as 42-year-old Octavia Chihuahua Castro. According to the GBI, Tattnall County deputies responded at about 11:30 p.m. on Saturday night to a 911 call reporting shots fired at a home.

“Upon arrival, deputies discovered the bodies of four deceased individuals from an apparent murder-suicide,” the GBI said. The bureau added that three additional people at the home, including a 6-month-old baby, were unharmed.

After reporting the incident on Saturday, the Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office said there was no ongoing threat in the community or danger to the public. “Please keep the families involved in your thoughts during this difficult time,” the sheriff’s office said in a Facebook post.
