Vanessa Whyte,Bryan Severin Obituary, Death; – The individuals involved in an alleged murder-suicide that occurred on Sunday in Colorado Springs have been named. As reported by the El Paso County Coroner’s Office, 40-year-old Vanessa Whyte and 37-year-old Bryan Severin were discovered deceased at approximately 11 a.m. on Sunday.

The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) indicated that they received a request for a welfare check in the 900 block of North 19th Street, situated on the city’s west side. Upon their arrival, officers noted that both Whyte and Severin had sustained at least one gunshot wound.

CSPD has classified Whyte’s death as a homicide investigation, while Severin’s death is being treated as a suicide. This incident marks the seventh homicide in the city for the year, as reported by CSPD. In comparison, there was only one homicide recorded at this time last year.
