Tyrik A Burchette Obituary, Death; – Chesterfield Police have confirmed the identity of a unicyclist who tragically lost his life in an accident on Route 1 last week. On Thursday, January 9, shortly before 5 p.m., law enforcement officers responded to a collision in the 5700 block of Route 1 involving an electric unicycle and a truck.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered the victim, identified as 26-year-old Tyrik A. Burchette, lying in the roadway after being ejected from his electric unicycle, according to Chesterfield Police.
Burchette was transported to a hospital, where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries. Authorities report that the driver of a 2022 Chevrolet Silverado remained at the scene and is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
