Tymari Albertson,Cevannah Alvarez Obituary, Death; A 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old woman, who were tragically shot during a confrontation at a mall in Brockton, Massachusetts, have been named by the Plymouth County District Attorney’s office, which has also identified a suspect.
According to Plymouth District Attorney Tim Cruz, Brockton police were dispatched to the Westgate Mall parking lot at 7 p.m. on Saturday following reports of a disturbance. Witnesses indicated that the altercation began at the Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park across the street before escalating to the mall parking lot, where the shooting occurred.
One victim was shot in front of a Chipotle restaurant, while the other was targeted near a Starbucks. The victims have been identified as Tymari Albertson, 15, and Cevannah Alvarez, 18. Cruz announced that a suspect, 22-year-old Davinci Leonard, has been identified and should be regarded as armed and dangerous.
The confrontation reportedly began between Albertson and Leonard. Mayor Robert Sullivan expressed his sorrow, stating, “Any violence, any horrific violence, is a tragedy. We are talking about teenagers that lost their life. Unacceptable in the city of Brockton. I’m confident in the police doing their investigation right now.”
Albertson was a student at Champion High School.
