Tyler Jonathan Reardon Obituary, Death; – The El Paso Police Department has identified the individual who lost his life in a motorcycle accident that occurred last week in Northeast El Paso, noting that excessive speed played a significant role in the incident.

Authorities report that Tyler Jonathan Reardon, aged 22, was riding westbound on a motorcycle in the left lane of Transmountain at a high speed on the evening of Saturday, August 31. Reardon reportedly lost control of the motorcycle, veering towards the curb and subsequently traveling west onto the median, where he crossed over a rocky landscape.

The motorcycle then tipped onto its side and skidded across the left lane before colliding with the rear of a vehicle that was halted at a red traffic signal. According to police, Reardon was thrown from the motorcycle and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

The occupants of the other vehicle, both the driver and the passenger, were unharmed. Authorities have reiterated that speed was a contributing factor in this tragic event. This incident marks the 41st traffic-related fatality of the year, in contrast to 53 fatalities recorded at the same point in 2023.
