Trudy Fields Obituary, Death; – A woman from Kentucky is facing legal charges following a police investigation into a report of a dismembered body, which led to the discovery of her mother’s remains being cooked in a pot on the stove.
According to the Kentucky State Police, troopers were dispatched to Brierly Ridge Road in Mount Olivet at approximately 12:26 p.m. on Wednesday after a man reported witnessing a dismembered female body on the premises. The individual, who had been contracted to perform work at the location, claimed to have seen a bloody mattress on the back porch and a dismembered body lying in the grass.
Upon arrival, law enforcement attempted to make contact with a woman inside the residence but received no reply. Subsequently, they secured a search warrant for the property and deployed a Special Response Team to execute the warrant.
When the police returned to the scene, the woman inside the house, identified as 32-year-old Torilena May Fields, continued to remain unresponsive. In response, officers utilized gas canisters and communicated with her via a robot before ultimately taking her into custody around 11 p.m.
During their search, authorities discovered a pot containing cooked human remains on the stove, which was still warm. Additionally, Fields was found to have blood on her face, hands, and clothing.
The deceased was confirmed to be Trudy Fields, the mother of Torilena. The man who initially alerted the police stated that he had last seen Trudy on Tuesday night in the company of her daughter before departing the residence.
He reported that Torilena Fields was “casting spells on them and being confrontational,” and the police documentation indicated that she may have been under the influence of drugs. Torilena Fields has been charged with abuse of a corpse, tampering with evidence, and obstructing governmental operations, with the possibility of additional charges pending.
